About Me

I earned my Ph.D. in Human Development & Family Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin, where I also received a Bachelors degree in Psychology with Honors and a minor in Anthropology. My research was routed in understanding early child development from a bioecological lens–examining contextual variables at play in children’s development and how they impact later adult functioning.

In academia, I was trained in high level statistical methodologies and analyses. I have since utilized my knowledge of research and data analysis to conduct targeted program evaluations for two non-profits and Austin Independent School District. Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, my work helped identify nuances behind successes and challenges. This culminated in changes to program design and implementation practices as well as evidenced proof of program success necessary to obtaining funding.

I hope to utilize the full range of my skillset and am excited to keep learning new methods!
